Dancing Through Life
2017 Capital Fringe Festival
Christopher “Chris” Bennett is attorney and founder at Technology-Innovation-Law, LLC. He earned a JD from Georgetown University, the MBA at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, as a Johnson & Johnson Leadership Award Fellow, and BA in Education from Morehead State University (after Johnson C. Smith University freshman year). His professional experience includes 20+ years in private and public sectors, plus certifications as Public Manager, Six-Sigma Green Belt, Executive Data Science, Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies. Chris engages in the practice of law in the District of Columbia, with interest in “IoT”/technology, environment, smart communities.
Chris examines a situation and draws on education and life experiences to devise a solution(s). Many of those experiences are touched by being born to a single mother in the economically disadvantaged neighborhood of Double Oaks, Charlotte NC (US). Further, they are informed by higher education and years of professional experience in private and public sectors. He goes through life with a soundtrack in mind – using music to bring ideas together by representing past and present – playing a forward-looking introduction to the future…think “Hamilton” as an example.
For "Dancing Through Life - By The Way", Chris was inspired by the people with whom he's interacted in his community - past and present. The people include family, friends, and others. Here he wants to thank each and every organization and person that contributed to this production. Please see the credits for a list and some information about each.
Thank you for participating! The aspiration is that some aspect of the "Dancing Through Life - By The Way" live performance, or the online content associated with the Play, will provide joy to your life...resulting in sharing that positive feeling with others forward.
